The Atal Medical & Research University (AMRU), Himachal Pradesh, has released the MBBS/BDS Admission Prospectus for 2025-26. Admissions will be based on NEET-UG 2025 scores for both state quota and management quota seats in government and private medical/dental colleges of Himachal Pradesh.

Eligibility for State Quota Seats
To apply under the 85% state quota, candidates must:
Be bonafide Himachali AND
Have passed two or more examinations (including 10th/12th) from schools situated in Himachal Pradesh
Exemptions: Children of serving/retired Army personnel and Central Government employees posted in Himachal Pradesh are eligible even if they studied outside the state.
Eligibility for Management Quota Seats
Open to all NEET-UG 2025 qualified candidates from any state in India.
No domicile requirement.
Ideal for students from outside Himachal Pradesh who want to pursue MBBS/BDS in the state.
Application Fee
General/OBC/EWS/NRI: ₹2,000
SC/ST/PwD: ₹1,000(Payable online during registration.)
Token (Security) Fee
₹20,000 – For candidates applying only for State Quota seats
₹50,000 – For candidates applying for both State and Management Quota seatsThis fee is refundable if you are not allotted a seat as per your filled choices and is adjusted against the tuition
fee if a seat is allotted.
