With blessings of the God, I have embarked on this journey of providing professional education and improve the Vision of the society through Himachal Institute of Dental sciences, Poanta Sahib, Himachal Institute of Nursing, Himachal Institute of Pharmacy, Himachal Institute of Life Sciences, Paonta Sahib promoted by Dr. Puran Chand Medical Charitable Trust. Last couple of years has seen us grow tremendously in terms of infrastructure; faculty and volume of services provided and witnessed significant academic achievements by our students and substantive research accomplishments.
Today we offer professional courses BDS, MDS, Dental Hygienist/Mechanic Course, B Pharma, M Pharma, GNM. The Trust is actively organizing numerous community outreach programs. The Trust has already made its mark in the global education and services provision in terms of the international Universities.
The institutions are embarking on a promising venture, dedicating to making the coming years as rich and productive as its past while ensuring that our students are trained, our faculty serve our patients receive care in a twenty first century environment. My goal is to lead the effort and set the standard for excellent in these endeavors.

It has become a fashion to talk about equality. Everyone says equality in education, equality in health and so on and so forth. However, it has been my cherished dream to provide education and medical facilities to all equally irrespective of their social or economic standing. That according to me is true progress. Dr. Puran Chand Medical trust society and its allied institutions are the realization of this dream. It will be our endeavour to raise it to be a deemed university.
