NEET MDS COUNSELLING 2021 - delay by MCC
NEET MDS 2021 entrance exam was conducted on 16.12.2020 and subsequently result were declared on 31.12.2020.
However, so far admission counselling has not been announced by Medical Council Committee (MCC) and similarly by the State Counselling Committees. Last year counselling process was started in March 2020 in Himachal Pradesh.
A petition has been filed before the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India challenging the "unjust and infinite delay caused by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC)"
The petition also raised concerns regarding the conduct of NEET-PG and NEET-MDS counselling together since NEET-PG has been postponed till August 31 and waiting for the same would further delay NEET-MDS counselling.
The petition sought directions to the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) to release the counselling date at the earliest and to direct MCC to conduct separate counselling for the #NEET-MDS 2021 and not wait for the counselling of NEET-PG.
